OBEDIENCE VERSUS DISOBEDIENCE

PRACTICAL CHRISTIANITY - MEDITATE DAY AND NIGHT.
February 4th, 2025
.
The whole of the Bible tells stories, experiences, observations about obedience and disobedience. The Word of God spreads out like the heavens in front of us to tell us about the awesomeness of God and the two sides of our actions or inactions towards Him - right or wrong, good or bad, yes and no. From Genesis to Revelation, obedience and disobedience scream loud to whosoever has ears to hear. While obedience to God's instructions is really, really very good (heaven on earth experience), disobedience is really, really very bad. If you knew anything about disobedience to God and you take it to heart, you will do anything and everything to avoid it. God does not lie and He does not change His mind but allows us time to repent before we breathe our last.

Why do we need to hear this again?
Because the time is short and now is the time. Nobody should be swept away like in the time of Noah or burnt to ashes like in Sodom and Gomorrah, or join the devil's club in Hell fire.

A whole chapter of the Bible, Deuteronomy 28, is dedicated to this topic for emphasis.

"If you fully obey the Lord your God and carefully follow all his commands I give you today, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations on earth. [2] All these blessings will come on you and accompany you if you obey the Lord your God:..."

(Deut.28.1-2.NIV). Read the blessings verses 3 to 14
OR
"However, if you do not obey the Lord your God and do not carefully follow all his commands and decrees I am giving you today, all these curses will come on you and overtake you:" (Deut.28.15.NIV)
Read the curses verses 16 to 68

Some of us may say, I attend the church regularly, pay tithe, serve, read the bible daily and help where possible. Do you do these things on your own terms or His? Do you have a relationship with Christ? If you did, do you grow it daily?

The wrath of God is real. To avoid His wrath, He made provision through Christ - Grace, Mercy, Compassion, LOVE, Warning to ensure we do not fall away. DO NOT IGNORE THIS!

WORD: Anyone with ears to hear should listen and understand!" (Mat.11.15.NLT
