THE GAINS FAR OUTWEIGH THE SACRIFICE!
The Lamb is the Lion.
Jesus was the Lamb led to the slaughter but resurrected as the Lion. Humanity should have known that He is the King. After all, we presented Him gifts at birth, worthy and the preserve of Kings. The three wise men saw it and told it to the earthly reigning King. But we tried to change the course of history/plan of God. We fell short because it was what God already decided (Acts 4:28, Psa 2:1-6). His sufferings our gain. Our cruelty to Him, becomes eternal gain to those of us that believe in Him.

To those who cling to the Old Rugged Cross where the best and dearest was slain will someday exchange it for a Crown.

To those who suffered mercilessly for the sake of the gospel and are imprisoned will leave the prisons for their mansions (John 14:1-3).

Beauty for Ashes; to those whose loved ones were/are killed: "and provide for those who grieve in Zion— to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of his splendor.
(Isa.61.3.NIV)

Those who the world has deemed inconsequential will wake up in His likeness. "As for me, I will be vindicated and will see your face; when I awake, I will be satisfied with seeing your likeness."
(Psa.17.15.NIV)

The corruptible body will exchange for incorruptible one. "When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true: “Death has been swallowed up in victory.” (1 Cor.15.54.NIV)

The shame of believers will be traded for fame. What the earthly rulers fail to recognise and embrace will become their downfall, but the uplifting of the righteous. "They are brought to their knees and fall, but we rise up and stand firm." (Psa.20.8.NIV)

We need to endure to the end knowing that only those who endure to the end will be saved (Mat. 24:13)

WORD: "No longer will there be any curse. The throne of God and of the Lamb will be in the city, and his servants will serve him. They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads."
(Rev.22.3-4.NIV)
