THE JUDAS ISCARIOT'S CONNECTION!
Judas Iscariot was one of the twelve disciples of Jesus (Mat 10:1)
He was a chosen even as Jesus chose the other eleven disciples.
He was with Jesus from the beginning BUT NOT TO THE END.
He must have been deemed honest, and accountable to have been made the treasurer of the group (John 13:29)
He was given power and "....... authority to drive out impure spirits and to heal every disease and sickness" (Mat.10.1.NIV) He performed miracles too.
He was taught by Jesus. He was present at all the teachings of the Master except the ones delivered after the last supper.
He was described as greedy. He loved money and he stole some for himself from the purse.
His downfall was, he passed through Jesus (the church) but did not allow Jesus (the church) to pass through him. He was equipped to excel  but chose to compromise. He chose the world and not the Word.

Judas Iscariot has followers in the church. Leaders, founders, elders, people in positions of trust, who have been in the church forever and who embrace his tactics. They are counted among the believers as 'Born Again' Christians. They know the scriptures. They preach, they are prayer warriors, they show they care and still in opposition to good works. They device means to steal from church and sometimes run the church as business empire. They display less of Jesus and more of self. They dine with the church and the devil at the same time meaning they wear masks. They are traitors.
“These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. They worship me in vain; their teachings are merely human rules.’ ” (Mat.15.8-9.NIV)

In the end, Judas committed suicide an indication that somehow, he knew right from wrong.
Do not allow evil to overcome you. Do not betray God's righteousness.

WORD: “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven
(Mat.7.21.NIV)
