PRACTICAL CHRISTIANITY - MEDITATE DAY AND NIGHT.
June 9th, 2025THE ENEMIES YOU SEE TODAY, YOU SHALL SEE NO MORE.
But there are three things you must do:
No fear - Have Faith
Stand still - obey the Lord
Watch - be patient
"But Moses told the people, “Don’t be afraid. Just stand still and watch the Lord rescue you today. The Egyptians you see today will never be seen again. The Lord himself will fight for you. Just stay calm.”
(Exo.14.13-14.NLT)
God was very strategic in the deliverance of His people. It took a while for Him to deliver the final blow, so, learn to wait. Note this; the people did not start walking into the sea on dry land - FAITH not sight. "Pick up your staff and raise your hand over the sea. Divide the water so the Israelites can walk THROUGH THE MIDDLE OF THE SEA ON DRY GROUND." (Exo.14.16.NLT). Next, "Then the angel of God, who had been traveling in front of Israel’s army, withdrew and went behind them. The pillar of cloud also moved from in front and stood behind them, coming between the armies of Egypt and Israel. Throughout the night the cloud brought darkness to the one side and light to the other side; so neither went near the other all night long." (Exo.14.19-20.NIV). Time advantage.
By the time the people of God looked behind them, the Egyptians were no where to be found. They have all died. No enemy of God’s children can live especially if such enemy does not relent and repent. You just have faith and hold your peace.
Saul pursued David making him his arch enemy for no justifiable reason. He tried hard in his power to destroy David so that he, David, will not sit on the throne. One day, Saul was no more, his next in line was no more, and four more of his descendants were no more. David took the throne not by FORCE but by FAITH.
Mordecai had a similar story to tell. Haman died but Mordecai lived and became the King's assistant. Esther survived the enemy and Israel came out from the shadows.
The journey may be long, the road may be rough, the suffering may seem unbearable, you may be weak and weary, DO NOT FAINT. It will be worth it at the end because the enemy you see today, you will see no more.
THE WORD: “But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint." (Isa.40.31.NKJV)
