PRACTICAL CHRISTIANITY - MEDITATE DAY AND NIGHT.
Sept. 19th, 2025
HOPE HAS NO EXPIRATION DATE.
God is not just God of second chances but of supernatural restoration. A God who can take your most devastating years and transform them into great seasons. He makes set backs into come back. The Lord says, “I will give you back what you lost to the swarming locusts, the hopping locusts, the stripping locusts, and the cutting locusts. It was I who sent this great destroying army against you. Once again you will have all the food you want, and you will praise the Lord your God, who does these miracles for you. Never again will my people be disgraced." (Joel.2.25-26.NLT). God repays!
● When God speaks, dead things come alive.
● When God speaks, impossibilities become possibilities.
● When God speaks, restoration begins where devastation once ruled. Supernatural multiplication and abundantly more than before.
Hope has no expiry date. So stop looking, stop thinking that all is lost. The whole of the Bible is written to enable us see clearly and know who God is. And if there is one thing we know, it is that He DOES NOT CHANGE. So, as He was in the beginning, is who He is now.
Take the case of the Widow of Zarephath (1 Kg 17) - she was about to cook her last meal, eat with her son and probably lay down expecting death thereafter. Then Elijah appeared at the end of her hope. Or the Widow of Nain (Luke 7:11-17) who lost her husband and was accompanied by her community to bury her only son. Then Jesus appeared and did the unimaginable. Hope does not expire even when we breathe our last breath - we hope to see Jesus face to face. Instead of hopelessness, pick up your mat and start praising the Lord. "There is surely a future hope for you, and your hope will not be cut off." (Prov.23.18.NIV)
But it comes with repentance if you want God to restore your past, you must be willing to give Him your current years. If you want Him to redeem your past, you must surrender your future. If you want Him to multiply what was taken, you must give Him what remains. (Psa.55:22; Mat. 11:28-29)
Remember, HIS MERCY ENDURES FOREVER. (Ps.136). His door of restoration is never closed if only you keep Hope alive. Keep the light on.
THE WORD: "Against all hope, Abraham in hope believed and so became the father of many nations, just as it had been said to him, “So shall your offspring be.” (Rom.4.18.NIV)
