GOD'S ACADEMY 2 - Devotional

PRACTICAL CHRISTIANITY - MEDITATE DAY AND NIGHT
Feb 1st, 2026

GOD’S ACADEMY 2
“If you have raced with men on foot and they have worn you out, how can you compete with horses? If you stumble in safe country, how will you manage in the thickets by the Jordan? (Jer. 12:5 NIV) “We wrestle not against flesh and blood”, hence we have to go through tough training.

The main objective of the academy is that the seasons of testing, wilderness experiences, or spiritual mentorship—focus on transformation, maturity, and ultimate success. The outcomes are internal character development and external blessings.
• Spiritual Maturity and Development: You will be fully developed, "lacking in nothing," and able to stand firm in the faith.
• Transformation of Character: You will move from a place of reliance on self or circumstances to a deeper dependence on God, often described as moving from spiritual "infancy" to maturity.
• Clarity of Purpose and Direction: You will be equipped to fulfil your specific purpose and calling.
• Resilience and Faith: You will learn to stay the course, overcome challenges, and trust in God's promises even during difficult times, resulting in a "settled" spirit.
• Demonstrated Results (The "Testimony"): The training often results in visible, tangible successes.
• Equipping for Service: You will be prepared for greater responsibilities in service, ministry, or leadership.

The Process Leading to the Results
• The "University of the Desert": This involves times where God removes0 supports (friends, money, comfort) to force reliance solely on Him.
• Pruning and Alignment: The training involves "cutting" away things that hinder growth to align the individual with God's ultimate purpose.
• The Test Becomes a Testimony: The trials and tests faced during the training period are designed to be passed, turning them into stories of God's faithfulness.

"Better is the end of a thing than the beginning thereof: and the patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit" (Ecclesiastes 7:8). This is why we have to endure hardship/suffering like soldiers of Christ.

• The University Of The Desert is God's choice training “At certain times and places God will build a mysterious wall around us. He will take away all the supports we customarily lean on. (AI generated)

THE WORD: "...in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us." (Rom.8.37.NIV)
