SEEK GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART. - Devotional

PRACTICAL CHRISTIANITY - MEDITATE DAY AND NIGHT
Jan. 17th, 2026

SEEK GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART.
We all know what this means. Matthew 6:33 – “Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” (NKJV) Jesus answered him, “The FIRST OF ALL the commandments is: ‘Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one. And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ This is the first commandment. (Mark 12:29-30 NKJV) But do you also know that it is written: “Listen to me, Asa!” he shouted. “Listen, all you people of Judah and Benjamin! The Lord will stay with you as long as you stay with him! Whenever you seek him, you will find him. But if you abandon him, he will abandon you.” (2 Chron. 15:2 NLT) Jesus said; “Everyone who acknowledges me publicly here on earth, I will also acknowledge before my Father in heaven. But everyone who denies me here on earth, I will also deny before my Father in heaven.” (Mat. 10:32-33 NLT) Once you make God your FIRST LOVE, it is dangerous to unmake Him your FIRST LOVE. All other activities in our lives are useless (operating on flesh-mode) when God does not fully occupy the only place in our body designated to Him.

MAKE SEEKING THE LORD YOUR RHYTHM (strong-repeated-pattern), DON’T LEAVE IT AS REMARKABLE MOMENT (once-a-while-action). “But I have this complaint against you. You don’t love me or each other as you did at first! Look how far you have fallen! Turn back to me and do the works you did at first. If you don’t repent, I will come and remove your lampstand from its place among the churches.” (Rev. 2:4-5) Follow the instruction in Proverb 3:5-6. “Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.” (NLT)

Furthermore,
SEEK GOD WHEN HE CAN BE FOUND (Isa. 55:6)
SEEK HIM WHEN HE IS NEAR (Isa. 55:6)
SEEK HIM WHEN YOU ARE YOUNG (Eccl. 12:1)
CONTINUALLY SEEK HIM (1 Chron. 16:11)

THE WORD: “You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart." (Jer.29.13.NIV)
