Have you ever wondered why it is difficult for some people to
believe in Jesus Christ as you do?
Have you wondered why it is so difficult for many people to
TRUST Him?
It is because He is not real to them.
Why is He not real to them?
Because they have not experienced Him!
Jesus Christ is spirit and those who worship Him must do so
in spirit and in truth (John 4:24). Unlike other gods who operate in the flesh,
you have to have an encounter with Jesus in your spirit and soul. That is when
He becomes real. “Taste and see that the Lord is good.” (Psa. 34:8)
Jesus Christ works in you from the inside out. He starts His
work of redemption from your heart. He cleanses you of all impurities, sin,
evil thoughts etc to make you whole. It is a surgical process and both the
surgery and the healing is a slow process dictated by your own obedience to the
Word of God.
Other gods work on your outside making you believe that you
can succeed on your own with a little help from your instructor or preacher.
The result is always a relapse. You cannot in your own power stop sinning. You
cannot heal your own heart and you cannot please God.
For Jesus Christ to become your DOCTOR, the Author and
Finisher of your faith, you have to obey His word as written in the Bible
(Deut. 28:1-2). He is ready and willing to forgive your sins, give you a new
lease of life and heal all your diseases (Psa. 103:3)
All you need to do is come to Him and declare Him as your Lord.
Confess your sins and He will receive you (Rev.
3:20).
Pray this prayer.
Lord Jesus, I confess that I am a sinner. I need you Lord in
my life. Forgive me all my sins. Take my life and let me be consecrated unto
You. Amen (John 3:16)
