We are edging closer to the end, edging closer for the second coming of the Lord, than we know or willing to accept. The reason is simple - humanity has pushed the TRUTH far away from their midst. We have set up a deadly war between heaven and earth because God is TRUTH and He will not allow evil to overcome good.
Wherever we look in the world today, all there is, is deceit, lying, evil. People thrive on lies. Governments after Governments thrive on lies. Politicians thrive on lies. Corporate organisations thrive on lies. Small and medium enterprises thrive on lies. Churches thrive on lies. Market men and women are not left out. Schools are not left out. Hospitals and Pharmaceutical companies are in the get rich quick scheme. The world is in a pathetic place when viewed from the eye of truth.
How did we get here?
"The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure. Who can understand it?" (Jer.17.9.NIV)
We love lies more than the truth. This is why the gate to life is narrow and only the lovers of truth will find it. "But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it."

As it is written: “There is no one righteous, not even one;.......All have turned away, they have together become worthless; there is no one who does good, not even one. Their throats are open graves; their tongues practice deceit.” “The poison of vipers is on their lips.” (Rom.3.10-13.NIV)
How can we get out?
By trusting Jesus Christ completely. Those of us who have found this small gate, narrow and difficult way, should endure for awhile longer, living the life of truth. Our Lord is nearby. To others, today presents an opportunity to come out from among them and accept Jesus as Lord and Saviour.
