PRACTICAL CHRISTIANITY - MEDITATE DAY AND NIGHT.
April 16th, 2025AN EXEMPLARY LIFE.
"In everything set them an example by doing what is good. In your teaching show integrity, seriousness and soundness of speech that cannot be condemned, so that those who oppose you may be ashamed because they have nothing bad to say about us." (Tit.2.7-8.NIV)
How will you feel if somebody walks up to you and say; 'you are like your Saviour, Jesus Christ.' I have observed you over the years and no doubt you exemplify your Master? He is love and you showcase Him in love. That is our benchmark from when God said, "let us make man in our own image and likeness" (Gen. 1:26) to when Jesus after washing the feet of His disciples said, "Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another’s feet. I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you. Very truly I tell you, no servant is greater than his master, nor is a messenger greater than the one who sent him. Now that you know these things, you will be blessed if you do them." (John.13.14-17.NIV)
The identity of the children of the devil is not concealed (John 8:44). Why should the believers' identity be unreadable?
An exemplary life is not in announcement or declaration but in actions. Jesus Christ encourages us to love like Him, to endure like Him, suffer like Him, give like Him, live like Him, trust the Father like Him, do the will of the Father like Him. By so doing, we will become what the world needs right now, and throwing lifelines to the many who are drowning.
"Live such good lives among the pagans that, though they accuse you of doing wrong, they may see your good deeds and glorify God on the day he visits us." (1 Pet.2.12.NIV)
Sin is obstacle. Flesh is obstacle, Satan or the devil is obstacle. The world is obstacle. You have the free will to choose which direction you want to go. But know this; a follower, disciple, believer in/of Jesus must live His life.
