"ENCOURAGE ONE ANOTHER."
A testimony was shared in form of a story of a young and vibrant couple who got married in the sixties. They were so in love, it was enviable. They lived in a small town where everyone knew everyone and nothing remained a secret for long.

The man was a carpenter and a good one too while the wife sold confectionery in the open market. They expected that soon their family will be completed with a son or daughter but this was not meant to be. Initially, it was bearable but before long, it became unbearable especially with people's whispers and suggestive comments. Some suggested herbal treatments, some divination, the use of talisman etc. In desperation, the woman tried them all with the unwavering support of her husband. Years passed and they were encouraged to see a medical doctor but there was no hospital in their small town. They had to travel to a bigger town on rough roads.
After examinations and tests, the doctor assured them they had no obvious impediment to conceiving. They should wait expectantly.

Long story short, it took 20 years for the woman to become pregnant after she already gave up trying. She was over the moon when her suspicion was confirmed. The couple followed every word from the doctor religiously and with prayers.

One day, eight weeks from her due date, she fell into labour. She was rushed to the hospital and the baby, a boy was delivered but did not cry. The hospital did all they could to resuscitate him but failed. They broke the sad news to the couple. They were devastated. The man asked the hospital to release the dead baby to him for burial. The hospital agreed sympathetic to the couple's plight. The woman too begged to be discharged until her wish was granted. They both left the hospital with the dead son. At home, they looked for a suitable place to bury it.

They dug the ground, gently placed it, all wrapped up, in the hole and covered it. But then they heard a soft cry and they froze. It came again and they quickly unearth it. The baby was breathing. They swiftly rush back to the hospital with the baby and the medical personnel were astonished. It was a miracle. The baby stayed in intensive care for two months before he was released to his parents. He later became a doctor, the first in the town and set up the first clinic in the town.

Are you waiting on the Lord for something? Don't give up. He told us to keep asking until we receive (Mat 7:7-8). Your miracle is on the way in Jesus name.

WORD: The righteous person may have many troubles, but the Lord delivers him from them all;"
