When we align with God's plan, He brings out the best in us. He guides us towards fulfilling our potentials and living a more meaningful life. With God on our side, we experience the best version of ourselves.
We have a hidden treasure in us, a talent that only God can turn from rusty, into shining, from timidity to boldness, from obscurity to limelight. But first, we must submit ourselves to Him. We must follow His precepts. Loving God is the prerequisite for living our best, God-glorifying life (Mat. 22:37-39).
Moses was equipped to take down a whole nation but in his own power and at a tender age, he killed an Egyptian boy to save an Israelite. This cost him 40 years in hiding, a shadow of who he was and denial of his potential until God called him. He led a whole nation out of Egypt while Pharaoh and his men perish in the sea.
David showed extraordinary skills of leadership and trust in God far away in obscurity tending to his father's sheep, when God gave him Saul's throne without his asking! (1 Sam. 16:1-13)
Apostle Peter's skill as a fisherman was turn into fishing for men in an extraordinary way that a not lettered became lettered (Acts 4:13)
Paul's zeal which led him to become a murderer was turned into saving souls in dangerous terrain, making him the best of the Apostles.
There are many more today bathing in this extraordinary fame all because they allowed God into their lives for His glory (John 21:25).
Do you want to be in this Hall of Fame? Stop struggling. Stop seeing your weaknesses. Stop giving excuses. Just surrender and let God do the rest. He will showcase your hidden potentials. He will extract the best in you and turns you into nothing but the best irrespective of your profession or status.
Self achievements end in the grave. God-made achievements live beyond the grave. Allow God to showcase YOU.
