I WANT TO BE LIKE AND LIVE LIKE JESUS.
Is it really possible to live like Jesus in this flesh and in this world? Yes it is.

We have been indoctrinated to believe that we cannot be like or live like Jesus Christ in our human form - the flesh and in this world. But the Bible says otherwise. It is easier to believe we cannot than to believe in the possibility that we can because 1. Part of us still love the world  and 2. We are afraid and unwilling to pay the cost of a Christ-like life.

First, Jesus declared that "Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father."
(John.14.12.NIV)

Second, Jesus dresses us in power "I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you." (Luk.10.19.NIV)

Third, we have the mind of Christ for, “Who has known the mind of the Lord so as to instruct him?” But we have the mind of Christ." (1 Cor.2.16.NIV)

Fourth, because "we have been crucified with Christ and we no longer live, but Christ lives in us. The life we now live in the body, we live by faith in the Son of God, who loved us and gave himself for us." (Gal.2.20.NIV)

Fifth, The same Spirit that operates in Jesus Christ is released unto us also and in full measure "But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you." (John.14.26.NIV). Therefore, all we have to do is

Sixth, "Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God. When Christ, WHO IS YOUR LIFE, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory." (Col.3.2-4.NIV)

Seventh, LET US "Imitate God, therefore, in everything you do, because you are his dear children. Live a life filled with love, following the example of Christ. He loved us and offered himself as a sacrifice for us, a pleasing aroma to God." (Eph.5.1-2.NLT)

Finally, "Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect." (Mat.5.48.NIV)

Are you willing to pay the price? If you are willing, you can be like and live like Jesus Christ.

THE WORD: "Whoever claims to live in him must live as Jesus did." (1 John.2.6.NIV)
