PRACTICAL CHRISTIANITY - MEDITATE DAY AND NIGHT.

God is always cleaning up our messes. He says: “Come now, let’s settle this,” says the Lord. “Though your sins are like scarlet, I will make them as white as snow. Though they are red like crimson, I will make them as white as wool. If you will only obey me, you will have plenty to eat." (Isa.1.18-19.NLT)
When we take a closer look at our lives especially in the light of Genesis chapters one to three, we must realise that humans are the most spoiled, the most pampered, the most loved of God’s creations, and there is nothing we can do to change that. No matter how low we have sunk, God will come after us, pick us up, clean us, and restore us. All we need to say to qualify for His undeserved love is "I am sorry" and mean it. That does not stop us from falling again and again and repeating the same process again. God has our backs in the most patient way that is beyond human understanding. What is man that you are mindful of him? (Psalm 8)
Right there in the Garden of Eden, He made tunics of skin and clothed Adam and Eve to shield them even after they have committed the most ungrateful acts!.
Can you imagine yourself in the place of God - Moses, in his anger broke the two tablets on which God wrote His covenant with the people because the people God just rescued from their slave master forgot Him and worshiped idol instead? What did God do? He simply asked Moses to return with two stone tablets and He wrote again. The Lord said to Moses, “Chisel out two stone tablets like the first ones, and I will write on them the words that were on the first tablets, which you broke." (Exo.34.1.NIV)
The climax was sending Jesus Christ, His only begotten Son to take the punishment for us and to die in our stead. Every sin spelt out in Galatians 5:19-21 are all forgiven even before we committed them. From Genesis to Revelation, the story is the same. It is not up to you to be perfect. God is willing to bail us out of all our problems. This is our lifeline and the only line.
The only thing that stands in our way is PRIDE. Not admitting that you are wrong and to seek restitution is man's greatest fall. Even then, the Holy Spirit is standing by to help break that barrier. We are indeed the BLESSED of God.
THE WORD: “For I will not fight against you forever; I will not always be angry. If I were, all people would pass away— all the souls I have made."
