PRACTICAL CHRISTIANITY - MEDITATE DAY AND NIGHT.

EXCEPT THE LORD BUILDS THE HOUSE.........
"Unless the Lord builds a house, the work of the builders is wasted. Unless the Lord protects a city, guarding it with sentries will do no good. It is useless for you to work so hard from early morning until late at night, anxiously working for food to eat; for God gives rest to his loved ones." (Psa.127.1-2.NLT)
This Bible verse is very simple but a profound statement evidence of God’s power and His involvement in the day to day affairs of men. That without God, we can do nothing. And with God, we can do all things.
When evil thrive, and the saints pray, and there is no improvement, instead, it appears that evil is gaining momentum and growing bigger, we think that God has gone to sleep. We think evil is winning.
"Who can command things to happen without the Lord’s permission? Does not the Most High send both calamity and good?" (Lam.3.37-38.NLT)
When we seem to be drowning and needing a lifeline but no help insight - Nights of weeping, sleeplessness, praying without answer, alone like a sparrow on the housetop (Psa. 102:7). At the same time, He is pumping us with strength to endure it while strategically dismantling evil brick by brick because God hates wickedness. We also know that God does not sleep nor slumber but He guarantees that His own will sing victory song; "What if the Lord had not been on our side? Let all Israel repeat: What if the Lord had not been on our side when people attacked us? They would have swallowed us alive in their burning anger. The waters would have engulfed us; a torrent would have overwhelmed us. Yes, the raging waters of their fury would have overwhelmed our very lives." (Psa.124.1-5.NLT)
Did you know how long David lived looking over his shoulders because Saul was in pursuit? What about Joseph? Some of us in similar situation will call it generational curse! Because we fail to see God's signature in our circumstances.
Until we learn to see the hand of God in all that happen to us, we will always see the devil in pursuit. Until we learn and understand that God permits whatever we are passing through, possess the faith that He is in absolute control, and that He will not fail us, we will remain blind and any lie, will be truth in our ears. Think about that.
