Ecclesiastes 3:1 NIV - New International Version
[1] There is a time for everything, and a SEASON for EVERY ACTIVITY under the heavens:
Ecclesiastes 3:1 NLT - New LIVING Translation
[1] For everything there is a season, a TIME FOR EVERY ACTIVITY under heaven.
Ecclesiastes 3:1 GNT - Good News Translation
[1] Everything that happens in this world happens AT THE TIME GOD CHOOSES.
Ecclesiastes 3:1 ERV - Easy To Read Version
[1] There is A RIGHT TIME FOR EVERYTHING, and everything on earth will happen at the right time.
Above are five slightly different Bible versions of the same verse of Ecclesiastes chapter 3. Basically, the content are the same - a season or a time for everything which speaks of godly order of everything under the sun. Because God is not a God of confusion (1 Cor. 14:33). Now notice the truth we all know laid bare in the Good News Translation - "the time God chooses" and Easy to Read Version puts it this way - "everything happens at the right time."
When is the right time? What time has God chosen for you? Do you know? So, there remains one choice and the only Choice: "Be patient, then, brothers and sisters, until the Lord’s coming. See how the farmer waits for the land to yield its valuable crop, patiently waiting for the autumn and spring rains."
(Jas.5.7.NIV). As our Lord Jesus Christ's second coming remains a mystery, so is your time/season. Don't compare and don't despair (2 Cor. 10:12), just trust Him. Stop running from pillar to post; you cannot change God's plans for you (Mat. 24:23; Isa.14:27). The time and the hour no one knows (Mat. 24:36). But keep asking keep praying until you receive (Mat.7:7). Hold on to His promises. He never fails.
The truth we all know is everything happens in God's own time. Advance knowledge to His exact time we do not know and we do not have. Let us patiently operate within what we know with FAITH and in Faith (Heb. 11:1)
THE WORD: “My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts,” says the Lord. “And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine." (Isa.55.8.NLT)
