OUR IMPERFECTION IS MADE PERFECT.
Imperfection and perfection sit between the Law and Grace. While the Law aims at making man perfect through obedience to the commandments of God, Grace demands only believe in the Son of God. Imperfection is "all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." Perfection is "being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus" (Rom. 3:23-24). The only qualification required for any of us to be declared perfect is FAITH in the Word of God.

Jesus Christ never demands that we be made clean or perfect before He can receive us. On the contrary, “Come now, let us settle the matter,” says the Lord. “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool." (Isa.1.18.NIV). God is not looking for a perfect YOU to send but a WILLING YOU. Why?
1. Because no one is good (Mark 10:18)
2. We have to depend on God. It takes God to please God. All our good works are like filthy rags. And without Him, we can do nothing.
3. God gets the glory. God is not going to "give my glory to anyone else, nor share my praise with carved idols." (Isa.42.8.NLT)

Many of are convinced they are not good enough to serve the Lord. They see, evaluate, and compare themselves to those already in the service of God, not necessarily what they can contribute. Some want to contribute but they do not know how or where to start. Don't start before Him or without Him but do what He says: “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest." (Mat.11.28.NLT)

The Bible has a very long list of imperfect people made perfect because they surrendered and willingly follow His instructions. If Moses was leading, then Rahab is not far behind likewise the woman at the well, Jeremiah, Jonah who many of us can easily relate to or Amos, a farmer sent to talk to royals! Peter who was uneducated!

God is the Potter and we are the clay. In His hand, He shapes and reshapes us into His good and perfect will.

THE WORD: "For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard. Yet God, in his grace, freely makes us right in his sight. He did this through Christ Jesus when he freed us from the penalty for our sins." (Rom.3.23-24.NLT)
