PERSECUTION IS ALREADY HERE!
Persecution is the systematic mistreatment or abuse of a person or group by another, often due to their beliefs, race, political opinion, or membership in a particular social group, leading to harm, fear, and suffering (AI). Christian Persecution is solely faith based and that faith is in Jesus Christ. Which translates into what the Bible teaches.
When we hear of persecution, we imagine it lurking in remote areas or in Iran or Northern Nigeria but it has spread like wildfire into the nooks and corners of our lives. It sneaked on us as personal ideas that is turned into principles or truth that should not be opposed. It is ideology weaponised. Personal ideas overriding God's spoken truth, and is not even up for discussion. Could this be what Jesus meant; “Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword. For I have come to turn “ ‘a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law— a man’s enemies will be the members of his own household.’
(Mat.10.34-36.NIV)
Because a person thinks he is a woman than a man, it must be seen as his truth and his truth becomes the world truth? Many families are divided on this. It doesn't stop there. Social media is the biggest court room for cruel judgements with no foundational truth. "I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting the one who called you to live in the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel— which is really no gospel at all. Evidently some people are throwing you into confusion and are trying to pervert the gospel of Christ." (Gal.1.6-7.NIV)
If we lose the foundation - God's truth, where is the alternative from? When has 'human truth' become God's truth? Human ideas are satanic or demonic and are false. Unfortunately, we are being silenced. You can not talk about this derailment without being persecuted even by 'Christians!' The church is weakened by threats from members and governments. Our faith in Christ is under siege! "If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you." (John.15.19.NIV)
Let us stand for the Truth and with the Truth. Do not compromise God's truth no matter the cost.
