Are you a Believer in the Lord Jesus Christ?
Do you sometimes feel like you are rejected by some family members and friends?
Are you an easy prey for lying lips?
Do you sometimes feel like people you know try to avoid you? Or do you sometimes feel like you just don’t belong?
Do you feel alone or lonely or both?
If your answer is yes to some or all the above, then be of good cheer, God may be calling you into a ministry in His vineyard as He often isolates chosen ones as a form of divine, temporary, and purposeful preparation for a specific mission. But which mission? Be patient. He will soon reveal it if only you will stop running, worrying, and just surrender.
Why isolation?
Because the intentional separation removes distractions, such as toxic relationships or worldly noise, allowing you to hear His voice clearly and grow in maturity. He pulled Moses unto Himself through the burning bush which did not burn until he, Moses was completely alone with Him. Joseph was hated, lied against, until he was thrown in prison - a lone time with God. The Israelites were totally separated from any other race and only unto God. Paul was beaten, stoned and almost left dead, suffered a shipwreck and finally under house arrest for a lone time with God. John was driven onto the Island called Patmos for a lone time with God. “ I, John, your brother and companion in the suffering and kingdom and patient endurance that are ours in Jesus, was on the island of Patmos because of the word of God and the testimony of Jesus.” (Rev. 1:9 NIV) Elijah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, John the Baptist, were not left out.
This season is used to build character, strength, and dependence on God, that prepares individuals for greater responsibilities, blessings, and deeper spiritual maturity. It is a sacred time to foster a closer relationship with Him, free from the influence of worldly distractions.
While this period can feel lonely or painful, it is often viewed as a temporary season to prepare someone for a greater calling, rather than a permanent state of loneliness.
THE WORD: I took you from the ends of the earth, from its farthest corners I called you.
I said, ‘You are my servant’; I have chosen you and have not rejected you. So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. All who rage against you will surely be ashamed and disgraced;” Isa. 41:9-11 NIV)
