PRACTICAL CHRISTIANITY - MEDITATE DAY AND NIGHT

Jesus often accepted invitations to eat with the Pharisees in their homes in spite of the constant public opposition from the Pharisees about His methods of teaching and His claim that He is the Son of God. Why? He knew that they, too, were sinners needing redemption even though they did not know it then. He did not write them off but found ways to drive home His purpose without losing His identity.
Jesus also ate with many tax collectors and sinners to the extent that He was called a glutton. “The Son of Man came eating and drinking, and they say, ‘Here is a glutton and a drunkard, a friend of tax collectors and sinners.’ But wisdom is proved right by her deeds.” (Mat. 11:19 NIV) Note His response - “BUT WISDOM IS PROVED RIGHT BY HER DEEDS” - the end justifies the means. In all these, Jesus did not lose His identity.
Paul wrote: “Though I am free and belong to no one, I have made myself a slave to everyone, to win as many as possible.” (1 Cor. 19:19 NIV) To the Jews he became a Jew. To those under the law, he became like one under the law. And to those not under the law, he became like one not under the law - all these he did to win souls for Christ. His identity in Christ was not destroyed. He did not go down in sin but pulled many out of sin.
Some of us believe that Believers should separate themselves from the ungodly, have no fellowship with the world, be uncompromisingly righteous and abide in God’s word. Is this what the scriptures say? And if we should separate ourselves from ‘sinners’ how can we win their souls for Christ? Simple, think - how many unbelievers do you interact with daily even in church? How have they influenced you? Are you on guard around them or you just take things for granted? The Bible encourages being transformed rather than conformed to the world. (Rom.12:2) Advises not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers. (2 Cor. 6:14) (Rev. 2:20; 1 John 2:16; Psa. 119:1-3) all call for unwavering obedience, integrity, and separation from immoral or idolatrous influences will upholding the ministry of evangelism. YOU CAN DO IT without losing your identity in Christ. You don’t need to go to their shrine. LET WISDOM work it out for you too.
Jesus sent out the twelve into the wolf's den. He sent out the seventy likewise. They ate and interacted with sinners and they came back whole. Jesus will not send you where He cannot save you.
