PRACTICAL CHRISTIANITY - MEDITATE DAY AND NIGHT

April 25th, 2026.

What does man bring into this life?

Two things: The breath of God and talent. “The Spirit of God has made me; the breath of the Almighty gives me life.” (Job 33:4 NIV) “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.” (Jer. 1:5 NIV) “Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.” (1 Pet. 4:10 NIV)

The start up: God provides parents to take care of the child. "Children are a heritage from the Lord" (Psa. 127:3) And the parents are to “train up the child in the way he should go……:” (Prov. 22:6)

Basic needs: These are the needs throughout a man’s lifetime. Food, water, shelter, and clothing. "Even to your old age and gray hairs I am he, I am he who will sustain you. I have made you and I will carry you; I will sustain you and I will rescue you." — (Isaiah 46:4 (NIV)  “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear.” (Mat. 6:25) While parents' deep compassion may fail, the Lord never forgets. “Surely they may forget, Yet I will not forget you" (Isa. 49:15) Adam did not leave the garden naked even after the fall. God made covering for him - clothes

What is expected:.”There is only one thing worth being concerned about. Mary has discovered it, and it will not be taken away from her.” (Luke 10:42 NLT) That is sitting at Jesus’ feet and listening to His word. Why?For we are God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” (Eph.2:10 NIV)  “The conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.” (Eccl. 12:13)

How to achieve the expected: Put your given talent/gifts into use.  “The servant with five talents immediately went to work, traded with them, and earned another five talents, doubling the investment” (Mat. 25:14-30) "All hard work brings a profit, but mere talk leads only to poverty." (Prov. 14:23) And if you have excess, share it with the poor - knowing that you will take nothing out of this world except your good/bad works. “Anyone who has two shirts should share with the one who has none, and anyone who has food should do the same.” (Luke 3:11 NIV) "At the present time your plenty will supply what they need, so that in turn their plenty will supply what you need. The goal is equality." (2 Cor. 8:14) And or arrange to leave your wealth with those who will put it to good use. Leave the world a better place.

Before we exist in the world, God takes back His breath and we bow out with the report of what we did while on earth. The report is written in us and sealed to be opened by God or His appointed angels.

THE WORD: "For God will bring every deed into judgment, including every hidden thing, whether it is good or evil". (Eccl. 12:14)
