PRACTICAL CHRISTIANITY - MEDITATE DAY AND NIGHT
June 7th, 2026.
We should always look for God’s consistency in the scriptures because He is the same yesterday, today, and will be forever more. It is also important to establish there is no double standard in the word of God, otherwise, God will not be just.
What is required to be Born Again?
It is a free gift of salvation based entirely on God's grace, not on personal good works.
If so, why is it that not all people are born again? Because to receive this free gift, one must believe that God is whom God says He is and what He says He will do. Based on these facts, Noah was born again because “But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord.” (Gen. 6:8 NKJV) Why? Because he walked faithfully with God. That means he believed in God when all his generations did not. Abraham was born again too. He was born into idol worship but when God called him, he followed. He believed and God counted it as righteousness.
It is possible that because of this fact that Jesus appeared to be harsh with Nicodemus when He asked; “Are you the teacher of Israel, and do not know these things? Most assuredly, I say to you, We speak what We know and testify what We have seen, and you do not receive Our witness.” (John 3:10-11 NKJV) Salvation has always been by grace through faith. “And the Lord your God will circumcise your heart and the heart of your descendants, to love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul, that you may live.” (Deut. 30:6 NKJV) Therein lies GRACE. It describes God changing a person's heart so they can genuinely love and obey Him. Born again is deeply rooted in the Old Testament. And according to Jesus Christ, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” Born again was not born in the New Testament. It was born and alive during the time of Enoch (Gen. 5:22-24). All the men and women of Hebrews 11 were born again.
God says, "I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you shall be clean from all your uncleannesses." (Ezekiel 36:25) Jesus says: “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.” (John 3:5 NKJV) The word of God is one. If you still think it is not necessary to be born again, then you have not believed in the Son of God nor in His word. Anyone who wants to make heaven must see clearly, understand with clarity and choose carefully.
THE WORD: “Since you have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit in sincere love of the brethren, love one another fervently with a pure heart, having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever…..” (1 Pet. 1:23 NKJV)
