PRACTICAL CHRISTIANITY - MEDITATE DAY AND NIGHT

“Do you not know that your bodies are TEMPLES OF THE HOLY SPIRIT, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.” (1 Cor. 6:19-20 NIV)
How? And you also were included in Christ WHEN YOU HEARD THE MESSAGE OF TRUTH, the gospel of your salvation. WHEN YOU BELIEVED, YOU WERE MARKED IN HIM WITH A SEAL, THE PROMISED HOLY SPIRIT, who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance…..” (Eph. 1:13-14)
When did the transaction take place?
Note that the price was fully paid, payment was made with Jesus' blood sacrifice on the cross at Calvary before you decided, as a slave to sin, to become free of sin and accept His salvation. Salvation is being rescued by God from the eternal consequences of wrongdoing, often described as separation from God. "But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." (Rom 5:8)
When did you receive the seal?
When you believed and took God on His word and promise in John 3:16 - "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life". This is followed by the promises of Jesus Christ in the following verses of the Bible.
John 14:16: "And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever"
John 14:26: "But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you"
John 15:26: "When the Comforter comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who goes out from the Father, he will testify about me" (NIV).
“Now it is God who makes both us and you stand firm in Christ. He anointed us, set his seal of ownership on us, and put his Spirit in our hearts as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come.” (2 Cor. 1:21-22 NIV) Therefore, you and I are marked, stamped and sealed with the Holy Spirit. We become Christ’s possession and the apple of His eye. This is why you should not go back to sinning. If you do, you break the hedge of God’s protection around you. You grieve the Holy Spirit and make yourself easy prey to the enemy.
The seal is the Holy Spirit. In Him, you have a new identity that makes you untouchable. “Touch not my anointed, do my prophet no harm.” The mark of the Beast has no power over those who have the mark of the Holy Spirit.
THE WORD: “ From now on let no one trouble me, for I bear in my body the marks of the Lord Jesus.” (Gal. 6:17 NKJV)
