PRACTICAL CHRISTIANITY - MEDITATE DAY AND NIGHT
July 12th, 2026.
A man stood up from the audience and stated - Satan fell from heaven and a third of the angels with him. Why did God not just lock him up right there? Why does He wait, why does he, Satan, get dominion over this world?
Many of us have asked this question many times. (1) Because of the belief that all our sufferings are caused by Satan. (2) Because we know that God can take the devil down. So, why didn't He just do it? If God had put Satan down, what would the world be like? What happens to our ability to decide who we want to be? Do we want to be like zombies or robots? Though we know that God already decided the end of Satan, but if He was to act on that decision now, do you know that we will all go down with him? We all want justice, right? ‘All have sinned and come short of the glory of God.” (Rom 3:23)
“And war broke out in heaven: Michael and his angels fought with the dragon; and the dragon and his angels fought, but they did not prevail, nor was a place found for them in heaven any longer. So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.” (Rev. 12:7-9 NKJV) Meanwhile, Satan is already judged (Rev. 20:7-10)
The world has been spared through GRACE - redemption through Christ who took our sin upon Himself so that our judgement is paid by Him but only for those who are willing to be saved.
The Bible interprets itself:- “Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, “Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down. And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.” (Rev. 20:10-11)
Just as it happened in heaven, it did on earth. Satan also called Lucifer was with God and in His presence until he rebelled and was banished and thrown out. Judas Iscariot was with Jesus Christ, one of the twelve disciples. He wore the satanic garment and was also cast away.
God gives us the ability to choose to obey or disobey. Obedience falls under GRACE and disobedience falls under judgement. This is also very important that no one will accuse God like Adam did - "The woman whom you gave to be with me,...” (Gen. 3:12)
THE WORD: And He said to them, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” (Luke 10:18-19 NKJV)
