PRACTICAL CHRISTIANITY - MEDITATE DAY AND NIGHT.
Oct. 8th, 2025
LIVING A VICTORIOUS LIFE.
"No king is saved by the size of his army; no warrior escapes by his great strength. A horse is a vain hope for deliverance; despite all its great strength it cannot save. But the eyes of the Lord are on those who fear him, on those whose hope is in his unfailing love, to deliver them from death and keep them alive in famine." (Psa.33.16-19.NIV)
Life is all about contests and conflicts; without which there can be no victory and we have all been stimulated towards this from birth or from the womb like Esau and Jacob. The maths tests in the classrooms, the Bible memory verses in the Sunday school, the street football friendly match, the strongly build and the seemingly weak build, beautiful features and not so beautiful, all are subtle ways in introducing us to contests and conflicts.
1. Life is about winning and losing. Some people strategize winning. While they know how to win, they do not know how to handle losing. And some people are perpetual losers. Meanwhile, Phil. 4:13 says; "I can do all this through him who gives me strength." (NIV)
2. Life gives us nothing free. People looking for something from nothing are usually prone to be scammed.
You must be prepared to be a winner. Paul says; "Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize." (1 Cor.9.24.NIV). Honesty, discipline, patience and perseverance with focus on the prize to be won. Any cutting corners disqualifies you. "Similarly, anyone who competes as an athlete does not receive the victor’s crown except by competing according to the rules." (2 Tim. 2.5.NIV)
Victory becomes easier when you are in the will of God. (Ref. Numbers 21). God warned the people - don't add yeast to the unleavened bread. Whoever added yeast shall be cut off (Exo. 12:18). Why? Bread made with yeast is not the actual dough. Victorious living is on God.
You say you have the Holy Spirit indwelling in you and you are afraid of witches and witchcraft? Do you not know that "You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because HE WHO IS IN YOU IS GREATER THAN HE WHO IS IN THE WORLD.
(1 John.4.4.NKJV)
THE WORD: “I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you."
(Luk.10.19.NIV)
