PRACTICAL CHRISTIANITY - MEDITATE DAY AND NIGHT.

THEIR SORROWS SHALL MULTIPLY WHO RUN AFTER OTHER GODS. (Psa 16:4a)
Because this violates the first and the second commandments of God which clearly stipulates; “You shall have no other gods before me. You shall not make for yourself an image in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below. You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me,...." (Exo.20.3-5.NIV) Running after other gods translates to hatred of the Most High God.
As a result, God gave the lands and possessions of these nations who served other gods to His own people (those who are obedient, who worship only the true God.) "Completely destroy them—the Hittites, Amorites, Canaanites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites—as the Lord your God has commanded you. Otherwise, they will teach you to follow all the detestable things they do in worshiping their gods, and you will sin against the Lord your God." (Deu.20.17-18.NIV) It is sin to do as the idol worshippers do. But the truth is the church have introduce many activities of idol worshippers into the worship of God, including their characters. Those whose spoils should be for God's children have infiltrated the church stealing, destroying and killing. And the church remain powerless. Our guiding light has shifted His position and the church, all over the world, is in chaos.
The salt of the earth has lost its flavor (Mat. 5:13).
The sorrows of unbelievers and believers who sides with them have multiply; "Surely you place them on slippery ground; you cast them down to ruin. How suddenly are they destroyed, completely swept away by terrors! They are like a dream when one awakes; when you arise, Lord, you will despise them as fantasies." (Psa.73.18-20.NIV)
Only those who remain faithful shall stand in His presence. To remain faithful to the end requires a life of discipline and determination not to be contaminated - an alone stand if and when necessary. Do as they do is death; obedient to God is LIFE.
THE WORD: "Dear children, this is the last hour; and as you have heard that the antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come. This is how we know it is the last hour." (1 John.2.18.NIV)
