RIGHT PLACE AT THE RIGHT TIME FOR THE RIGHT REASON.
Right place at the right time for the right reason is the perfect timing.
What about right place; wrong time or wrong place; right time and for the right reason/s?
We pray fervently for a desire. We are aware that God’s response or timing is different from ours. His timing, we do not know. Whatever we are asking Him for could be delivered instantly or much later. We are assured He will deliver because His word says so – “ask, believe, and receive” (Mark 11:24). Two actions have taken place: (1), we have asked and (2), we are assured of answered prayer. What is left is when we will receive the request. For this, we have to be ready! We need to be at the right place, at the right time and for the right reason/s. Any variation could become catastrophic.
Often time, we become impatient and move the timeline. Sometime, we become rebellious and we lead God or we help God to fast-track answers to the prayer. Our enemy, the devil, tries as much as possible to introduce us to alternative solutions dressed as God’s solution. The common assumption is – ‘God is going to use somebody or send somebody to solve the problem.’ Of course, that may be true but the question is, DO YOU KNOW WHO GOD HAS DESIGNATED OR ASSIGNED THE RESPONSIBILITY? This is where things begin to fall apart. We know that God’s time is perfect.
Abraham was ready to have a son but God wasn’t ready to give him a son so, he decided to help God. As a result, Ishmael was born. The effect of that decision taken four or five thousand years ago is still felt today. We cannot out smart God. Every act of disobedience carries punishment and when we decided to help God, we are actually consenting to the consequences of our action.
We need to include in our prayers for the Holy Spirit to guide us in the right direction. Right place, right time, and for the right reasons to receive God’s answer to our prayers.
THE WORD: "The smallest family will become a thousand people, and the tiniest group will become a mighty nation. At the right time, I, the Lord, will make it happen.” (Isa.60.22.NLT)
