PRACTICAL CHRISTIANITY - MEDITATE DAY AND NIGHT

TO FOLLOW JESUS, YOU DO IT HIS OWN WAY.
Nicodemus, a member of Jewish ruling council, came to Jesus by night and asked: “Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher who has come from God. For no one could perform the signs you are doing if God were not with him.” Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.” (John 3:2-3 NIV)
The Rich Young Ruler came to Jesus and asked: “Teacher, what good thing must I do to get eternal life?” (Mat. 19:16 NIV) Jesus answered, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.” (Mat. 19:21 NIV)
A man said to him, “I will follow you wherever you go.” Jesus replied, “Foxes have dens and birds have nests, but the Son of Man has no place to lay his head.”
He said to another man, “Follow me.” But he replied, “Lord, first let me go and bury my father.” Jesus said to him, “Let the dead bury their own dead, but you go and proclaim the kingdom of God.”
Still another said, “I will follow you, Lord; but first let me go back and say goodbye to my family.” Jesus replied, “No one who puts a hand to the plow and looks back is fit for service in the kingdom of God.” (Luke 9:57-62 NIV)
Then Peter spoke up, “We have left everything to follow you!” “Truly I tell you,” Jesus replied, “no one who has left home or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or fields for me and the gospel will fail to receive a hundred times as much in this present age: homes, brothers, sisters, mothers, children and fields—along with persecutions—and in the age to come eternal life.” (Mark 10:28-30 NIV)
“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have PEACE. IN THIS WORLD YOU WILL HAVE TROUBLE. (The good news) But take heart! I HAVE OVERCOME THE WORLD.” (John 16:33 NIV)
JESUS NEVER SAID IT WOULD BE EASY BUT HE SAID IT WOULD BE WORTH IT.
THE WORD: “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it." (Mat.7.13-14.NIV)
