PRACTICAL CHRISTIANITY - MEDITATE DAY AND NIGHT
Mar. 29th, 2026.
Prophet Haggai wrote: “This is what the Lord Almighty says: ‘In a little while I will once more shake the heavens and the earth, the sea and the dry land. I will shake all nations, and what is desired by all nations will come, and I will fill this house with glory,’ says the Lord Almighty. ‘The silver is mine and the gold is mine,’ declares the Lord Almighty. ‘The glory of this present house will be greater than the glory of the former house,’ says the Lord Almighty.” Haggai 2:6-9 NIV)
And in the Book of Acts, we read - Now a man who was lame from birth was being carried to the TEMPLE gate called BEAUTIFUL, where he was put every day to BEG…. When he saw Peter and John about to enter, he asked them for MONEY. Peter looked straight at him, as did John. Then Peter said, “Look at us!” So the man gave them his attention, EXPECTING TO GET SOMETHING from them. Then Peter said, “SILVER OR GOLD I DO NOT HAVE, but what I DO HAVE I GIVE you. IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST OF NAZARETH, walk.” Taking him by the right hand, he helped him up, and instantly the man’s feet and ankles became strong.” (Acts 3:2-7 NIV)
Haggai: God was going to shake the heavens and earth and fill the house with glory. In Acts 2:2. Suddenly a sound like the blowing of violent wind came from heaven.
Haggai: What is desired by all nations will come. Acts: But what I do have I give you - The name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, the DESIRE OF ALL NATIONS.
Haggai: The silver is mine; the gold is mine declares the Lord Almighty. Acts: Silver or gold I do not have. Meaning God holds the treasure and the key to unlock it is the Name of Jesus Christ.
Haggai: The people were worried about the resources to rebuild the temple. Acts: The beggar was asking for money to maintain the temple - himself - the temple of God (1 Cor. 3:16)
Haggai: The glory of the later will be greater than the former. Acts: And instantly the man’s feet and ankles became strong. The beggar jumped to his feet, ran into the temple and started praising God.
Haggai’s prophecy was fulfilled on the day of Pentecost. There is enough evidence that whatever project God lays in your heart to build, He already made the resources available. You only have to trust Him. And instead of chasing earthly wealth, chase Jesus Christ and all other things shall be added unto you. The beggar, who is the temple of God not built by hand, got more than earthly treasure. He got his life back. STOP WORRYING; START TRUSTING.
THE WORD: “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes?” (Mat. 6:25 NIV)
